October is national Breast Cancer Awareness month. Please join all of us here at Shipley Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in helping to spread the word about minimizing the effects of breast cancer through education and early detection while raising money to help support the medical research needed to put an end to breast cancer once and for all.

- There are numerous ways to detect breast cancer: self breast exams, mammograms, MRIs and ultrasounds
- Death rates from breast cancer have been declining since 1990
